Safety Data Sheets

Safety data sheets (SDSs), formerly known as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs), communicate hazards to workers and first responders. SDSs are often required for shipment of a compound or pharmaceutical.

This hazard-based assessment identifies health and physical hazards with less emphasis on describing risk of exposure.

These are appropriate for any stage of active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) that are to be shipped for testing or development.

However, pharmaceuticals in the final packaged form intended for patient use do not require safety data sheets.

Our team is knowledgeable in both hazard classification (GHS) and transportation (IATA, IMDG), and all SDS classifications are prepared or reviewed by Registered Professionals of the American Industrial Hygiene Association’s (AIHA) SDS and Label Authoring Registry. We can provide SDSs, or a full hazard categorization table for entry into your existing SDS management system.
